If you’ve been a Mac user for very long, then you know what MacHeist is. Every year or so, these guys put together a series of mystery puzzles that lead up to the sale of a bundle of Mac software for a ridiculously low price. I’ve been a Mac user for just under a year now, and my biggest regret in not getting a Mac sooner is that I missed last year’s MacHeist bundle. Don’t let that happen to you!
The Bundle Contents (and regular price)
- iSale $39.95
- Picturesque $34.95
- SousChef $30.00
- World of Goo $20.00
- PhoneView $19.95
- LittleSnapper $39.00
- Acorn $49.95
- Kinemac $299.00
- WireTap Studio $69.00
- Big Bang Board Games $24.95
Current Bundle Value $626.75
Locked Applications
- BoinxTV $199.00
- The Hit List $69.95
- Espresso $80.00
Total Unlocked Value $975.70
All of this, for only $39. That’s hard to beat, even if you only use a few of the apps. BTW, historically, ALL locked apps have always become unlocked before the sale is over.
If you have a Mac, and can use any of this software, then consider buying from my referral link:
http://www.macheist.com/bundle/u/140433/
I don’t get any money from this, but if two folks purchase via that link, I get some extra apps added to my “loot”. Once I get those two extra apps, I’ll remove my referral link. <g>
Enjoy!

OK, so I’ve finally installed something other than the default Kubrik WordPress theme (the crowd goes wild!). It’s a clean, simple theme called “Statement” by Jai at BlogOhBlog.com, and is a very nice base for me to work from as I begin customizing the design of The iMissionary Project’s site. Once complete, the forums, helpdesk, and all other sections of the site will share a cohesive design.
I’ll probably keep the black header, and a simple text-only logo (anyone care to design a nice, iconic logo for me?), but I’ll definitely be tweaking everything, and adding some blue highlights. Gotta have some blue.
I like blue.
Since the final design will be a bit different than what it is now, I’m attaching a screenshot of the current theme for comparison… and to remind me from whence it came…

Since 2002, I have been providing free hosting for missionaries by a word-of-mouth referral basis. I am currently in the process of opening up registration, and this is the “placeholder” website. Once registration is open to missionaries at large, this site is where you’ll be able to find out more details and get the ball rolling. And yep, this is basically a text version of a very old website notice… the “under construction” sign.
More to come!

The next step in getting your free website is choosing a domain name. This step can and should be done at the same time I’m working on your website, so be sure to get me the info from Step 1 as soon as you have made your choice. While I’m working on getting your website ready, we can be discussing the domain name you want to use. Read the rest of this entry »
